Making outfits is a mental exercise

The internal debate between an outfit and a dress while getting dressed: on one hand, a dress is simply one piece where as an outfit requires coordination of many pieces. Exerting the extra effort to combine pieces is rewarding knowing that after you've done the color matching and the collar line-ups, you have a one-of-a-kind get up.

The print-mixing and the surprise of what will actually coordinated well, like a baby blue dalmatian print and neon orange lace for instance, is also a mental exercise. So, if getting dressed can sharpen your grey matter, don't we owe it to ourselves to try?
