With the future season of denim getting cleaned up in a way to wear to work, it might be the end of the boyfriend jean (yes, a jean prediction!) so I thought I'd have a last hurrah. I don't normally say 'au revoir' to trends, but if boyfriend jeans, and norm-core in general, is getting outta town, then I want one last fling.

Nothing has said 'summer loving' like loose chambray, some holes in your cuffed jeans, and a favorite tee. Think Coachella on a boat. But with the groovy seventies highjacking all of 2015, cuffs will be gone, replaced by tight thighs and swinging bells, and I don't feel like getting myself bell-bottom-ready. Not yet. I'm nervous about it. Remember the issues of yester-year?  Muffin top, slim thighs, and hemming? These have made me nary to try the flare still.

As with some affairs, there are times to draw out the romance. A weekend at the beach, a picnic in Paris, or a city day on a mo-ped (this is my day dream life, obviously, because I'd rather you hear about that) I can't imagine with out my boyfriend jeans. So, in a future I sense will be taking a break from them, here's my maybe last public outing with boyfriend jeans, for now.
