The Shoe Diet Man

As completely guided by local men's wear guru Cecilia Marquez.

It has come to my attention that men read this, so, for you dudes, I literally sat down and took notes from a friend who is a men's wear buyer. It's going to take several sessions before I even begin to understand men's fashion - the tiny details, the similarities in garment options, and very subtle distinctions made my head throb, but after a couple days of studying, I'm getting to where I can identify what I'm looking at and why it attracts/repels me. What I'm fluent in, women's fashion, has oodles of big and bold trends buzzing constantly. Sometimes, even totally opposing trends'll trot down fashion week's runways the same season. A fashion girl has a huge spectrum of "it" looks to work with. It's like you can't fuck up. The men's fashion world, with its subtleties, intimidates the hell out of me. These are rules that have been around, they do not change, everyone knows them, and you look like a total idiot if you get it wrong.
