Tamargaritas

How would you describe yourself in a drink? Bubbly, refreshing, and slightly intoxicating? It makes for a better drink than 'bookish' and 'kind of smart ass' - I'm a regular Margarita drinker, I would know. Here in Texas, Margaritas are enjoyed as a daytime favorite. They can also be enjoyed on any given evening, around the clock and workweek, So it's important to have a handy recipe you really enjoy. Here is my favorite, invented by none other than Chris Brown.

Things you'll need

  • ice
  • limes
  • tequila
  • simple syrup (I recommend making your own with 1:1 parts sugar and water)
  • Cointreau
  • Topo Chico
  • shaker

Shake shaker until frosty. Note that it will be incredible hard to open. No one tell you that about bartending. Be in top upper-body fitness for this step, or have a hernia. Another option is having your photographer open it for you. You have one your cocktails professionally shot every time you make them, don't you?
